Wow, yesterday was a Really Nice Day!

I feel truly blessed! As if my Heavenly Father was smiling down on me just because he wanted to

. I know I did nothing to deserve it... but I sure enjoyed it! Thank you God!! So here, I shall share about it...

First off, let me start with Monday. Monday I received a call from the French bakery in Tallahassee where I had applied for a job the Wednesday before. The bakery is Au Péché Mignon (which can be translated as " At the Guilty Pleasures" or "At the Sweet Temptation" etc.) The owner asked if I would be available to come in on Tuesday for a second interview

. At the time, I was at the Redmond's house where Amy and I were working on miniature pecan pies for Scott's and her wedding reception (is your mouth watering?). Amy sweetly volunteered to go with me to Tallahassee because the trip is always more fun when made with a friend... and if you are going to make a trip all the way to Tally, you might as well make the gas expenditure worth while and a bit of window shopping always seems to do the trick

.
When we arrived in Tally, I dropped Amy off at The Fresh Market (one of the nicest, ritziest, and coolest grocery stores ever!) and I headed over to my interview. I was meeting with the owner and the interview seemed to go well

. We laughed quite a bit actually! A little bit of interesting info about him: My best guess is that he is in his mid-thirties. He and his wife have owned the bakery for 7 years and they have a son whom they homeschool. He (the owner, I wish I knew his name!) is incredibly interested in theWesselhoeft's dairy as he enjoys making cheese. At the end of the interview, we shook hands (as if to say, ok, that went well, we'll talk soon) and then chatted some more. We shook hands a second time, and he told me that he "feels really good about this" and that he'd call me later in the day to let me know for sure. Last evening I was at the Sneads Park with some families from church and my cell phone doesn't get reception out there. He easily could have called and not gotten me. So, I will try to call later today. One thing I do know, I am confident of, is that God is in complete control of it all.

If I get this job, it is because it is God's will. If I don't get this job, it is because of God's will. And there is nothing better

. I am content either way. I simply want to serve God where ever he deems best. And I know he will help me know how to do that

. Praises to God!! Praises indeed!

Following the interview, I met with Amy and we did some window shopping. We went to the mall and in JC Penny's we finally found a dress for me to wear to Amy and Scott's wedding next month! I have been looking for a dress for quite a while... I bought this bolero/shrug on Ebay two weeks ago, and this dress will look perfect with it!
The dress was originally $50. I got it half off, and had an $18 gift card... so I only paid only a little over $8 cash for it!!!

Then we went to Michaels and Amy found some more beautiful flowers on sale, I found something I've been looking for for a looong time, on sale 40% off!
Then, we decided we wanted Starbucks on the way home. I was getting hungry, too so we stopped at the Ocala Publix shopping center for sushi and Starbucks... then Amy spotted a store called Plato's Closet. She had heard a lot about it from some of her school friends, so we checked it out. We found that it's a lot like Goodwill, but for name brand clothes, and it's MUCH cleaner and more organized.

We both found clothes we really liked

I bought these two skirts for a total of $17

. The blue one still had it's original tags. It was from Talbots and was originally priced at $108!!!!

(I bought it for $6

)
On our way to Publix we ran into my best friend from college, Allison. She works at Publix and was taking her break

. It was such a treat to see her!!
We got sushi (which Amy is starting to like more and more

) and headed to Starbucks.
There, I ordered the new Mint Mocha Frappuccino. The guy who made it was new and accidentally put regular whipped cream on it instead of chocolate whipped cream. I didn't know the difference, but because he had "messed up" he made me a second one the "right way"! So I got two Mint Mocha Frappccinos for the price of one!

I knew it was Mrs. Nancy's favorite, so we gave her the extra one at the park last night

. Speaking of the park, it's really nice to meet up with families from church during the week and have an afternoon/evening of sports, fellowship and good food! What a great idea! I especially enjoyed watching the soccer yesterday and the children running around with their airplanes! I wonder, did anyone get pictures?
Anyway, so yeah, my day was truly blessed!

Blessings to you all! I hope you all have a fabulous day
